Innovations & Applicability
Wooden holds made of tree burls are 100% natural and one of a kind – unique. They are distinguished by extreme solidity, durability, natural appearance and pleasant warmness when touched. Their exterior is processed so they delivers an excellent grip, also making them skin friendly. The holds don't contain any artificial foreign matter, coatings or adhesives, as they are produced using special procedures and mechanic surface treatment, which is the result of Slovenian knowledge and researches, too.
Every hold allows for several ways of gripping, enabling users to adapt the level of difficulty when climbing. Holds made of wood burls equally and even more efficiently replace holds made of artificial materials and add a higher quality level to the climbing wall.
So far, wood lumps have not been used in any other wood treatment technological process with higher added value. But wood processed into climbing holds gives former wood waste a new added value for people, nature and the environment alike.
Climbing on naturally shaped and diverse surfaces strengthens body and mind.
